Re: Crafting with VHS Tapes

OK, you are officially Queen of the Craft Lab! I so want to make some of those bookends, but I have to replace my old copy of "Hackers" first . . .

Re: How to Turn Blah Buttons into Bodacious Buttons

Great job giving us not only the toothpick holder tips, but also showing how they hold up after washing! That's invaluable . . .

Re: How to "Fill Holes" with Buttons for a Unique Embellishment

This is incredibly clever - I really want to try this!! I have a stack of knits on the floor of my sewing room waiting for refashioning . . .

Re: How to Make a Gridded Button Portrait

Ok, this is really cool . . .are you sure you've been sick? Or have you just been letting your body be taken over by some kind of alien snot-monster craft genius? 'Cause this is BRILLIANT!!

Re: How to Make an Egg Dish

I wonder how eggshell would work in encaustic?

Re: How to Make an Egg Dish

Ooo - this is brilliant.

Re: How to Make a Pet Food Tray, Embellished with Duct Tape

Another great tutorial!! You rock . . .

Re: How to Make Stuffed Valentine Doll

Ok, mental note made: I have my eyes peeled for a guy who looks just like this . . . if found, will send him your way!

Re: How to Craft with Gourds

Hey, DG! Trying to catch up on my blogs on the way back from Oaxaca, and saw this! Can't wait to show you the gourd bowls I got here - they carve a design into the exterior surface while the gourd is still wet, then preserve it as it dries - very cool!

Re: How to Make Paperless Origami

Yup! Brilliant! If you get the kind that's fusible on one side, could you attach fabric to it first? Or paper? You know, for color! Hmmm . . . endless possibilities, no wilting!

Re: How to Make Button Cards . . . with Removable Buttons!

Oh yeah, baby! You rock! My Holiday cards this year are all going to be patchwork themed, but I may have to add in a few yummy buttons . . . hmmm . . .

Re: How to Add Crochet Trim to Any Fabric Edge

Oh, this is so great! I'd really love to learn how to crochet so that I can incorporate it into my fiber art and clothing remakes - is there a book you'd recommend (with really big, clear illustrations?)
